Hi there and welcome to my website. It is a work in progress but it's coming along so please browse through it and let me know if you find something you like. I have recently added a pricing page and I have found that "metal" seems to be the best medium for my images although I'm starting to look into acrylics as well. However, if you just want a photo print that you can frame yourself then these are available too.
I hope you enjoy the images I have to offer. I will be adding more as time goes by.
My dear friend the late Judge Richard Scott urged me to write a book and give it the title of Pictures on the Prairie. As of yet, I have not started on the book but I did create this website as a first step in this endeavor. Hopefully, one day I will get the chance to write this book.
I have included some of my father's images on this site as well. Please check out his Honey Bee on Aster photo which is one of the best film photos ever taken of a honey bee. He has received several top awards for his photos of honey bees.
I have also included a beautiful image of a windmill captured by a high school classmate of mine. She took the image on the Illinois prairie with a film camera. The photo clearly represents the area of the country where all of the photos on my website were taken and why the judge felt that I should call my website Pictures on the Prairie.
Thanks so much for dropping by.......Mark Killion
