In May of 2026, my telescopic rig was sent to the Utah Desert Remote Observatories and is in operation at the Primrose observatory.

I had visited this immaculate facility in 2025 while attending the Astrophotography workshop conducted by Craig Stocks and Dr. Christian Sasse in September of 2025. That's when I decided I needed to get my imaging rig out there.

Craig and his family own and manage the facility. Being a former structural and mechanical engineer, I was greatly impressed by the construction and the cleanliness of the observatories. Also, I learned how Craig and the staff give personal attention to the renter. So, I was eager to get my system there.

The photos below show my rig in the Primrose observatory and some images taken from my personal webcam. Then, these images are followed by the images I have taken at this observatory via remote imaging from my home in Paris, IL. I was fortunate to have some early recognition of my images soon after shooting from this beautiful facility.
